Purpose driven farewell

Saturday 10^th of November 2018

I just fare welled my family at the train-station for my trip to San Francisco. Even though I will be away for just one week (well 9 days, my wife Annina would attach) I was very emotionally touched. They were very much giving me the feeling, that they will miss me! And for sure, I will miss my family too. And there was a short moment I usually ask myself, "why are you doing this?". And then I think back to that moment I decided to do it, because of an inner feeling which drove me to subscribe to that training.

Today I think I will start another journey in my life! Somehow, I have the feeling, that this week with 4 days of *holacracy coach training in San Francisco with Brian Robertson, will be something very important for my current and future purpose in life! And therefore, for my future activities.

Purpose is an important thing in context of holacracy and sociocracy3.0! Organizations with a purpose, that every member can follow, allow to naturally energize, drive intrinsic motivation and therefore support self-organized teams.

My experience with teams @swisscom and with my teammates, The DATA Mavericks @acceleris, organized according to holacracy principles, underline that theory! I always feel a very special team spirit and forward thrust!!

But first of all.. I need to travel to SF now. My flights boarding time is just right now.. but no worries.. I’ll keep you posted about my holacracy experiences this week!
